I am 1h in - this Q/A is great. The answers to the questions are really understanding of where the trader currently is, and quite valuable for the rest of the audience. Wrt your questions about your elaborate answers - it’s great like this. Don’t change something that works ;).

Its an amazing concept...two aspects of this strategy that are underestimated for most people to master is the amount of pain that you would have to endure and the amount patience you would have to exercise. You have obviously mastered those but that would be a very hard thing for most people to achieve...especially a new trader.

If you use TradingView, they also have a trade calculator built right into the trade panel. Looks like it does the same thing, but it's on the same page and looks prettier.

I am a great admirer of yours and hope to make loads of dough using your approach. I have been trying or shoud I say very trying to trade FX using Stochastic, RSI, Bollinger, SMA, MACD, Ichimoku bla bla bla, parabolic SAR, Aligator, Pivot , Fobonnacci - well here I have a very soft spot for this technique - at least for finding out your famous overextended trends support/resitance levels. I also developed some neural networks robots :):):) I guess the best neural network so far is our own brain......But now I feel like I know nothing:) I guess it is a good way start right from the beginning.

Just have a question, why do you add to losing position and thus taking multiple trades instead of just having one initial trade of 1:1 and just moving your stop loss to, for example till 0.6-0.7 risk/reward ratio without taking the following trades at all? In the long run adding to positions helps to reduce overall risk? Thank you!

Understanding your a Forex trader, would you care to share your trading philosophy applied to a stock (ADVM)? Traders have created quite the long bearish run. My interest in your strategy with respect to this stock is, in some of your videos you look for traders who are taking that last aggressive grasp for gains before the trend becomes exhausted (large candles on high rate of change moves). This stock did not have such a move as of this morning, although it did drop. I entered anyway because well, it felt right for me as a long swing opportunity. Is that last grasp for gains common and is it worth making it a primary determinant for entries and exits?

So let's say the actual risk is 20 lots and i've added 4x 5 lot sizes and after it went in profit i added another 10 lot or whatever but immediately price is going in drawdown but the trade still seem to be valid, and in order to control risk should i close anything of my previous entry? Really curious on this one as it's looks really a new thing to me, thank you Nick.

I absolutely don't trade against the trend. Not because it's a bad thing to do but because I suck at it so far. Ignoring opportunities in the market because you think it's wrong is just leaving money on the table. If you're experienced enough and know what you're doing, who cares what your method is?

everyone has a different way to view of the market. i trade breakouts and trends so i literally take opposite trades as nick and its been pretty profitable since most the trades he's been calling out are failing.

Your videos are changing my life. Turned 800 into 37k in 10 days but lost it quickly, should have withdrawn the money and kept going with 1000-5000 account. Starting again with 2k this week. At least I know that my intuition with 1:1 is what works for me.
